The Street Marshals are another valuable tool in monitoring the welfare and safety of people socializing within the city centre over the weekend. As I  work as a Door Supervisor, it's a great addition in terms of an extension in the service we provide and it vastly inproves communication across the board.

I found the Street Marshals to be very helpful. I work in a bar and they are regularly paying visits and ensuring everything is safe. Me and my friend also broke down one night after work and they were there to give us the help we needed.

As a Door Supervisor in Hull, I feel that the Street Marshals are a brilliant asset to our city, helping us and the police keep people safe on an evening.
Hull has needed an idea like this for a lot of years now, and just knowing that we can all work together makes it a pleasure to work in this city.
This concept of Street Marshals should be expanded to be able to cover the whole city, and as other towns and cities see it working, it will expand nationwide.
Danny and his team do an excellent job, and I would like to see local authorities and licencees support them, and help them grow.
A valuable part of helping make the nightlife community in Hull feel very safe and assisting to eradicate violence and anti social behaviour in Hull, well done Street Marshals!!!

The presense of Street marshals give people a sense of safety and support when the streets can become busy and alcohol well consumed which can often lead to many people becoming intimidating, aggressive and challenging. Street marshals are a great preventitive and proactive group who make a difference in being a positive presense on our streets today. Keep up the good work.

Its very reassuring for women that the Street Marshals regularly patrol the city.
Two of the Marshals walked me to my husbands car so I didnt have to walk past a few of the rougher bars alone, being pregnant, they put my mind at ease by ensuring my safety when I was getting picked up after work one night.

Since the Street Marshals began i have noticed the difference in Hulls nightlife I feel the streets are safer. Due to these extra patrols by the Marshals for the first time in a long time the police, CCTV, landlords, members of the public and the street marshals are working together as a big team to keep the streets safe the way it should be. Hull has a good asset in the Marshals and it would be good to see them in Beverley and Bridlington and other areas this is how it should be.
